What you need?
Clothing
Three sets of clothes.
Blue Jeans
Cotton T-shirt
Belt
3 sets of socks
3 sets of undies...guys and girls
Sweater
Coat
Stocking cap
Mittens / Gloves
Lace up boots is best but t-shoes are okay.
Equitment
Canteen / somthing to carry water in.
Flashlight / extra batteries
One Green Glow Stick - Everyone must have one in order to leave thier tent anytime after 6pm.
Fork
Spoon
Knife
Plate
Bowl
Cup for water, ect. and a cup for hot drinks.
Sleeping bag / twin size sheet, blanket, a large towl or blanket to lay on the floor of your tent.
Pillow
If you got it.
Compass
Disposable Camera
If you are taking any medication it must be checked in with Mr. Scott.

Martial Arts Challenge!
Self Defense - Breaking - Sparring

Where? Body Works Gym.
Cost? $20 entry fee for all events!
$25 entry fee for all events AND this
includes 2 free 8x12 boards and one 12x12 board.
$1 spectator fee -
Instructors Enter free
No coaching fee.
Spectators age 55 and older enter free!
Time? TBA
Any School wanting to participate, must select 3 warriors minimum or 10 warriors maximum.
Only ages 5 to 17 may participate.
School teams may be Ranked White to Black in any combination.
1st through 3rd place will receive a Metal and Certificate!
Breaking materials will be available at tournament.
One 8 inch wide by 12 inch long - white pine board = $1
One 12 inch wide by 12 inch long - white pine board = $2
This will be faster paced tournament so we can be done by 9:00pm
This will be a fun tournament, we hope to teach our students good sportsmanship and expand their knowledge of the martial arts through competition with others.

SD-5 Single Attacker BEG

This Event will be scored on 4 areas.
Technique Flow - Does the technique flow well?
Focus - Does the Student "know" what he or she is doing?
Attitude - Is their a loud Kiai? Is their Power? Is their control?
Breaking.
Beg - Int - Adv
POWER Division
PBD-1 BEG
PBD-2 INT
PBD-3 ADV
The POWER division will test a student's ability to break as many boards with one strike.
the student who does the most in ONE STRIKE wins.
i.e - one student may set up 1 board and break it with one strike, then the next set up 4 boards and break three but not the fourth, then the next set up three boards and break them all. The last student would take first, the first student take second and second student would take third.
If two or more students break the same amount of wood, the judges will choose who had better form and focus and establish 1st, 2nd and 3rd based on their wisdom.
CREATIVE BREAKING Division
CBD - 1 BEG
CBD - 2 INT
CBD - 3 ADV
The CREATIVE division will test a students ability to set up a set of breaks and carry the out one after another. The set must be at least 3 breaks minimum, 15 breaks maximum.
students may vary between (brave) people willing to hold their boards, or use supporting blocks to hold their boards.
Sparring divison.
